Anna and Jackson’s Gates Pass elopement was my first elopement that I have photographed in Tucson and I absolutely loved it! As a Tucson native, Anna always loved Gates Pass and instantly knew that’s where she wanted to get married. The best aspect about elopements is how intentional it is…an intimate ceremony witnessed by family and the closest of friends to celebrate a blessed couple.
One of my favorite moments from Anna and Jackson’s Gates Pass elopement was how emotional everyone was during their ceremony. As I circled all of the family during the ceremony, joyful tears were descending everywhere. Anna and Jackson were literally holding each other up while never taking their eyes off of each other.
When we were walking from one location to the next, Jackson confessed to me that he hasn’t smiled for a photo in years. Obviously, his explicit joyfulness towards Anna changed him because he never stopped smiling when they were together!
