During my first FaceTime meeting with Carly and Michael for their Admiral’s House wedding, I immediately knew we’d get along awesomely when I found out about Lupin and Squirrel! Yes, those are the names of their pets. Multi-pet people are my people (obviously). Well the #LiedtkeWed exceeded every expectation. From the Platform Nine and Three Quarters posters to the lego cake toppers, there were so many personal touches throughout their wedding!
Michael’s reaction to seeing Carly was my favorite moment. In preparation of their first look, Carly confided in me that Michael will probably instantly hug her. She went on to explain…”whenever I look pretty, he hugs me.” How adorable is that? Well, Michael gasped and then took some time to compose himself after seeing his wife. Together, Carly and Michael are one of the most genuine couples that I’ve ever met. They know each other so well. And the story of how they started dating is even more hilarious once you get to know them. I love how they authentically evoke each other’s true personalities with their relationship.
Congratulations again on celebrating your lifelong commitment! Thank you for trusting me with your wedding photography.
