Elegant. Timeless. Southern. These words come to mind when reminiscing about Bailey & Jeff’s stunning destination wedding in Tybee Island, Georgia.

This particular wedding will always hold a special place in my heart. Not because of the details or the charming location, although every aspect of Bailey & Jeff’s wedding day was gorgeous. This wedding was special because I grew up with the lovely bride, Bailey. She is not only family, she is a friend. We grew up together in our small hometown of Star City, Indiana. We swapped stories during calculus, sang together in choir, and even participated in county pageants together. (Oh yes, we laugh and own our “has-been queen” status with pride). We shared triumphs and tears as we witnessed each other’s highs and lows and grew into the individuals we are today.

The day Bailey walked down the aisle and said, “I do” to Jeff was most definitely a high. I’ve never seen her happier.

The morning of her wedding we laughed about how life didn’t go at all like we had planned in high school. Somehow, it turned out better.

Bailey & Jeff, thank you so much for trusting Emma and me to document the day you became husband and wife! It was an honor!

The last thing that I want to share is how well they blended in during our wedding and reception. They laughed and had a great time with our guests all while taking our pictures! I believe this is why our pictures truly captured the essence of our entire wedding- they were so wonderful to be around and work with that they were an extension of our family and friends! My best friend booked La Brisa right after our wedding to take her wedding pictures in the Dominican and they were also beautiful!
