I have known Kevin since when he was a scrawny, tall drink of water and was the goalie on our youth soccer team. I was his sweeper and tried to protect him from getting bombarded with shots as much as possible. His dad, was one of our coaches and his mom was one of the team “moms”. Soooo many memories. When he asked if I was interested in photographing his wedding in the Bay Area, I LEAPT at the chance to a) go home and see my parents and b) take a walk down memory lane and hang out with my old soccer buddy! Through the power of Facebook, it is amazing how connected you feel to old friends once again!

After seeing Aly for the first time at their engagement session, I was proud of Kevin for marrying up and she was drop-your-jaw-in-speechlessness gorgeous on her wedding day! =) I had an absolute blast hanging out with the beautiful Aly and her stunning bridesmaids as they were getting ready at the Santa Clara Marriott. With the incredible sounds of the joyful (and fearful) screams from nearby Great America, Aly turned from beautiful to absolutely glamorous before our eyes! We then headed to the Freedom Hall and Gardens for their ceremony and reception and it was one of my favorite sites that I have ever had the pleasure of working! The staff was amazingly attentive and professional and they knew exactly what to do to host a fantastic celebration!

Thank you Aly and Kevin for inviting me to play such an important role at your incredible wedding! I had such an awesome time with your families, wedding party and friends and I definitely did not want the dancing to stop at the end of the night! Congratulations again and many blessings to your new life together!
