Photography For a Cause
I host Photography for a Cause which is where photographers sell their fine art photographs and 100% of the print profits are donated to amazing non-profit organizations and deserving personal causes. Since 2009, Photography for a Cause donated over $18,000! As I was starting my photography journey, I thought of ways to give back to my local community. Then, when a friend asked about buying one of my photographs, Photography for a Cause was born! Over the years, numerous photographers participated in selling their fine art photographs out of their own generosity and I am incredibly grateful to them! Introduction to Portrait Photography Class
Since 2011, the La Brisa team raised over $5,500 by teaching Introduction to Portrait Photography classes in Kansas and 100% of the profits were donated to HOBY, Hope For Alison and Sunflower CASA. We teach the very basics of DSLR camera operations and explain the exposure triangle. Then, we proceed to share with the attendees how we shoot by providing models for everyone to practice. Teaching FREE Workshops to Aspiring Photographers
I host Aspiring Photographer Workshops (APW) throughout the country for new and aspiring photographers to learn from me. During APWs, I share how I shoot, how I interact with clients and how I make a ridiculous fool of myself to create the images that I want.
