Three years ago, I met Melissa at Megan and Tyler’s stunning wedding in Kansas City, MO. Melissa was Megan’s maid of honor and she went above and beyond to make sure Megan’s day was perfect. I distinctly remember Melissa because she was beautifully glamourous. She had an elegance to her that was simply unmatched. When she asked me about photographing her wedding, I was ecstatic because I knew it would be a phenomenal celebration of commitment, love and DANCING!
At Melissa and J.P.’s Attraction Session, I knew how sentimental their wedding day would be because of the personal significance of the locations they selected. And that was an understatement. Everything about #RevinUp4Rankin was emotionally awesome. From Melissa’s gifts to her mom and mom-in-law, to Melissa’s dad seeing Melissa walk down the stairs at their childhood home for the last time as a Coultis, to Melissa and J.P.’s faux first look, to one of the most emotional first looks of a bride walking down the aisle that I have ever witnessed, to dancing the night away, there were an abundance of perfect moments! A huge applause to Lauren Kadel of Simple Elegance for planning a seamless and inspirational wedding. Melissa and J.P. were generous, gracious and elevated throughout their day. They seemingly walked on clouds which is the ultimate goal for all newlyweds.
Congratulations again on celebrating your lifelong commitment and I can’t wait to feature your wedding and details in your full blog post!
