The opportunity to photograph a fellow photographer is one of the greatest compliments that I can receive! When Rebecca contacted me to photograph her family’s Joy Session, I was ecstatic! I’ve known Rebecca since she assisted me with Ashley and Scott’s wedding 5 years ago and she’s been a long time member of the La Brisa APW FB group too! She has one of the most adorable families and I had such a blast photographing them!
We ventured all around Manhattan, KS and I tried to break Rebecca out of her comfort zone a bit by using an urban environment for her family photos. Apparently, she typically prefers outdoorsy backgrounds with lots of green (or so she told me) and so we started in Downtown Manhattan to mix things up a bit. The W Family’s children are awesome! Super sassy, happy and energetic. I’m quite certain they get their sassiness from their parents. =) What I remember most from their session was how much their son looked up to his dad. It was the sweetest thing.
The W Family was incredible throughout their shoot. Even with the little ones grew a bit weary, that didn’t prevent them for showing off their ridiculous dimples!
