During a recent trip to California, I was able to visit and now that the little ones recently turned two, it was time for updated family photos! On a beautiful summer day, we explored a nearby park and let Zack and Carrie play. One of my favorite things about Joy Sessions, is giving families a chance to relax and run around with each other. Zack and Carrie absolutely LOVED the slide and the swing. Regardless of playing together or individually, they smiled with glee the entire time! And those candids are what I love to photograph because that’s how Zack and Carrie truly are at this time in their lives.
Thank you again B Family for your friendship, your awesomeness and your love for others. You are amazing and it has been such a privilege to photograph your growth as a family!
PHOTOGRAPHERS! Whenever you are photographing a family, take 30 seconds to photograph the parents (while their children are nearby). I have found that most parents do not have a decent photo of themselves since their wedding and so here’s your opportunity to add value to your client’s portrait session (as well as give the parents a quick break). Plus, as with these two, the parents are so comfortable and natural with each other that photographing them is super easy and fun!
