Oh beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. How I miss you! Lindsey and Kit granted me the fabulous opportunity to visit the astoundingly beautiful North Carolina for their AMAZING wedding! From my flight into the Asheville airport from New York, all I could see was the magnificent beauty of trees that covered the entire landscape. As soon as I landed in Asheville, I kicked myself for not adding a few extra days to my visit and taking the time to explore the hiking trails and roads of The Blue Ridge Parkway and all that it has to offer!
Anyways, back to Lindsey and Kit 🙂 I started the day with the ladies at Evolutions Salon and then we headed back to the hotel for some makeup and prepping. In the meantime, I took some of the guys’ portraits just outside of the hotel before heading to the ceremony site, The Farm Party Barn – amazing, amazing location! Beautiful reception area and unbelievable outdoor wedding ceremony site! The entire wedding was perfect! Everything was laid out beautifully! From the amazing weather to the awesome food to the unbelievable Armadillo Red Velvet cake (via Steel Magnolias), Lindsey, Kit and their families knew how to celebrate!
Throughout the entire weekend, I felt like a part of the family. Both families were incredibly welcoming and generous and the love amongst them was just so tangible and joyous. I love weddings. Seriously, how the love between two people can join two families together is truly glorious and that is why I absolutely love photographing weddings!
Thank you again for having me at your wedding! Lindsey, you were absolutely breathtaking and your infectious smile radiated throughout the beauty of your wedding!

Here’s one of my new favorite groom portraits!
Kit special requested some Reservoir Dogs type of pictures and I was happy to oblige! We headed over to Shoney’s that had a perfect red brick wall for the background.
Into the dress
I love when the mother of the bride laces up the bride’s dress! Such an intimate connection and moment between mother and daughter.
The beautiful ladies 🙂
Onto the cakes!
As promised, the most amazing Groom’s cake I have ever seen!
